CD SUNDAY - 'Sun or Sand or Sea' - chosen by Wynn

Just before we announce Pamela’s Top 3 for her ‘Say it with Flowers’ challenge we would like to say thank you to all who entered in Meg’s ‘Shabby Chic’ challenge.  Not just a challenge for you – a bit of a challenge to some of the team – me included.  Meg will be back in a couple of weeks with her own Top 3.
Here is Pamela’s Top 3 and the team’s contributions to Wynn’s challenge will follow.

All three of my Top Three winners have used House Mouse designs. That's not why I picked them - just a coincidence!
 1st  – Eve
I loved all the die cut flowers, in various sizes, that were added to Eve's card as well as the various shades of lilac used.
 2nd  - Pauline
As usual with Pauline's cards this is so well put together with all the colours fitting in perfectly.
3rd  – KandA
I adored the image on this card, it's so cute!
Congratulations Eve. Please contact us at cdsunday2@gmail.com to claim your prize and together with Pauline and KandA grab the appropriate logo from the side bar.
Let us now show you what the team members have created for Wynn’s challenge. We think this theme is rather appropriate with the fine weather that we are having at the moment and we will start with Wynn herself;
                Carol

                                 Jane
We hope you enjoy looking at the teams designs and that they will give you some ideas and inspiration. Have fun and …........
as always, please, please, do not forget to use something from a CD somewhere, however small, in the making of your card or project and give the CD credit. Entries that do not include the use of a CD, although welcome to see, will not be considered for the prize on offer. And whilst talking of prizes – please note that the last of our very few rules states that the prize winner must claim the prize. We do put the current prize winner at the top of the Blog on each challenge so that it can be seen.  If it is not claimed it can’t be given.
Enjoy the sunshine. See you next time.
Carol and the team
xx

CD Sunday - Shabby Chic - chosen by Meg

Thank you to all who supported Pamela’s  ‘Say it with Flowers’ challenge and Pamela will be here in a couple of weeks with her winning trio.  Meg has chosen 'Shabby Chic' for our new challenge but just before we show you the team’s interpretation of the theme we have Jane’s Top 3 choice for you

“I loved all four of the entries, making it very hard to choose. With only four entries, all of such a high standard, I think it would be a shame to leave anybody out, so I am going to say my top pick is
Seafield Jo for BOTH her entries."

1st   – #1 and #4 – Seafield Jo

Two beautiful cards that made great use of embossing and die cutting to add interest and texture to the gorgeous images.
2nd   – #2 -  Linby
A beautiful serene scene with lovely delicate embellishments
3rd   – #3 –Eve
Another calm and elegant design - the decoupaged blind was perfect to add interest without upsetting the balance.
Congratulations Jo.  Please contact us at cdsunday2@gmail.com to claim your prize and, together with Lynn and Eve, grab the appropriate logo from the side bar.
Let us now show you what the team have produced for Meg’s challenge and we will start with Meg herself;

CD Sunday - 'Say it with flowers' - chosen by Pamela

Good Morning everyone - Thank you to those who entered Jane’s ‘Anything Asian’ challenge.  Not as many as we would have liked for Jane’s first challenge but a big thank you nevertheless. Jane will be back in a couple of weeks with her winner.

Before we tell you all about the next challenge chosen by Pamela I am going to sneak in with my own Top 3 for my ‘Sketch’ challenge.

This genuinely was a difficult choice as there was just a smidgen between 1st and 2nd. I almost did a tied 1st.

1st   – #6 - Linby
A lovely free spirited interpretation of the Sketch.  Something I would like to have done but know that I wouldn't have thought of it.
2nd   – #7- Seafield Jo (second entry)
I just love the image and the backing paper together. The shape of the die cut and everything. I keep coming back to have another look.
3rd   – #3 –Jane
I love all the images by Faye Whittaker and this is a lovely one you have chosen. A slightly different take on the Sketch which I love.

Congratulations Linby . Please contact us at cdsunday2@gmail.com to claim your prize and together with Seafield Jo and Jane grab the appropriate logo from the side bar.

Now for her own challenge - 'Say it with flowers' -  Pamela has produced something with a real WOW factor – so here it is to start us off:
